After working on an arrangement which might be more expected today, I chose to strip it down and go in another direction. It’s different, not what I’d call a “pretty” arrangement but more in the direction I want my work to go. Playing with the elements today was more of an exploration of what they are, and how they can go together. I tried really hard not to judge the outcome once I was done, but to just be satisfied that I had done something different.
