Miniature designs continued…..

This is my design for day 3 of a five day miniature design challenge on Instagram. Posting a few days late, but you can see the current work on my Instagram account. For this piece I made a construction using black stub and winding wire (and a large water tube) to make a form that I covered with magnolia catkins, small pieces of strelitzia leaves , and phalaenopsis roots. Then I added some gathered flowers found on my daily walk. It’s giving me a reason to examine things more carefully with new ideas on how things can be added to designs.
