Spring brings about renewal, long dormant life begins to awaken and reach for the sun. A perfect time to begin some posts here and show some new arrangements. I thought I might create some just for this site, so here is the first one. I chose to use a curly willow branch that I split to make a Hana Kubari (a natural flower holder) and started with a few green mini cymbidium orchid blooms. Then I added some blue grape hyacinth (muscari), narcissus and a few galanthus (snow drops) from the garden. Simple but really fun and springy, a great start to my spring awakening.
