365 Days of Ikebana-Day 134

Bells of Ireland can be tricky to use, very often they are either straight or curved but they are unique in that they can be easily reshaped to get the shape you desire. I bent two of them and wove them together to form one large circular form, and then repeated that shape again. The extremely fragrant orange roses are the variety “Free Spirit”, and the last material is colored white kiwi branches. I wanted to work with the odd curve of the top of the bowl, it’s actually higher on one side than the other. So it has a unique shape, and the different size holes in it also add more to the circular theme.

Another great piece. You are rocking these arrangements out of the park!

With the holes in the vase, is there any water in there?

I used a small self contained Cup kenzan to hold the water (do a google search for cup kenzan to see one). I have different sizes, and it is a must have item!
