Ikebana with staight lines from my Sogetsu ikebana class tonight, it was too big to get a photograph during class so I had to bring it home and remake it. Still it was too big to photograph straight on so I stood on a chair. The materials I used are red stick dogwood branches and green chrysanthemums. Below is the original version:
I will definately have to work out a system to do bigger work, something that has been on my mind lately. It’s more of a space issue and on some days time, but I think I like these bigger pieces and want to do more.
