I found this curved iris stem in the garden today, mostly bloomed out except the last bloom at the tip. It has a great curved shape, and it looks great with the hosta leaves that have opened. Each day I go out to see if the hostas have opened, eager to collect their leaves. It’s probably a good thing that we have a lot planted, but I still think we need more. In my opinion there is no such thing as having too many hostas. The great colors and variagations, large and small leaves, and the shape make them a must for the ikebana garden.

Great line. The vase is fantastic too.
