Today’s ikebana is a morimono, made with green and yellow zucchini, an onion, red tomato with vine, snap peas, pink sweet peas, blueberries, and a dried strelitzia leaf. The inspiration came after I took some fruit from the crisper and saw the zucchini, I thought the colors were great and I didn’t have any flowers I felt inspired by today so the morimono was a great choice. It’s a pretty easy arrangement to make, and do enjoy trying to see what I can do different each time. The snap peas are standing on top of the tomato, and they stood there for half an hour while I waited for better light to shoot my photos. Eventually they fell down, but I put them up again trying to balance them without having to wire or attach them in any way, and it worked once more.
