365 Days of Ikebana-Day 34

Today I started a new piece with the thought that it should be completely done in one day. It was an ambitious piece, with a lot od detail to be done. Later in the day I realized that my goal of creating daily was still intact. I am creating daily, just not making completely finished larger works. Some things are going to take more time than others and I need to enjoy the process. My work today involved cutting willow and weaving it into a sphere. Black roots from the shore were added in, with some rose hips, and kudzu. Frederick taught me how to braid today, and I braided several pieces of kudzu to add to the sculpture. Tomorrow I will be scouting for more materials to try to finish the work.
