Some vases or containers are not easy to design in, and this particular vase is one of them. I wanted to revisit it(and I will again and again) to see what I can do with it. It’s a journey of discovery, I’m still trying to learn to see things right brained. Maybe when I find time to dive back into the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” I am trying to make some headway into discovering how to turn off the left brain mode of creating and turn on the right brain. This evening I tried altering the sunflower a bit by removing some of the petals, accented it with red/yellow butterfly weed and then created the crazy curved lines with green colored kiwi vine. While this isn’t what I had intended to do, it did take an interesting turn and I went with it. I wonder how I’ll feel about it when looking back at the end of 365 days?
