The last of the spring tulips from the garden are fading, I used one today with some pink azalea, hosta leaves and winged euonymous. The combination of pink, green and brown looks pretty good together. Not bad for odds and ends from the garden. I have lots coming up, but the severe lack of rain is a concern. During the last few days I have watered aggressively to try to give everything a fighting chance to survive. So many things that should be blooming now have come and gone, and summer plants are rising out ot the ground. I can’t wait to have some new materials to work with.
