Some days I don’t have an abundance of floral materials, and today was one of those days. I got home very late and that wasn’t expected. Too late to forage in the garden for something to use for today, so I chose to use some unconventional materials. I grabbed some copper angel hair and a container of “pick-up stix” and started playing with them. I added an osage-orange for a bit of color and then thought to use some rose petals with it to create a composite flower (which I think looks a bit like Audrey2 from “Little Shop of Horrors”). It’s a step in the right direction for me, but I still need to work at it. Below is an additional photo from last week. It was one of the rejected arrangements I did, but I felt a need to post it anyway.
