365 Days of Ikebana-Day 167

It’s New Year’s Eve, a time for celebration for the year that is passing and the new year to come. I’m celebrating my achievements this year that include this:

At last I can finally call myself a Sensei, a teacher of Sogetsu ikebana. My teacher’s diploma was presented to me in early December at my Sogetsu ikebana class by my Sensei Jane Redmon, and I still can’t believe that I have it. I’ve told a few people, but have kept it to myself mostly. I’m hoping it will open some doors and encourage me to continue to learn and grow as I continue on the path I have chosen. My goals for next year are being set and I you make a list of your hopes and dreams and follow it. Here is wishing everyone a happy, healthy and creative 2012!
