Celebrating the end of summer with a design which began with a discarded Christmas wreath found on the street. I collected several this past January with the idea that I might find some new purpose for them. The frame was opened up a bit to create the “legs” and I covered the whole frame with rope. I chose the rough texture so that it would be an easier material to hold glue. Then I glued over 500 bamboo knots onto the frame and added small glass tubes as my water source.
